Classics Remix Group | Month 3

November 19 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
A colorful grid of portraits of Jane Eyre from classic book covers, in the style of Taylor Swift's Eras poster. Text below reads: "We're in our Jane Eyre-a" Text promotes Paul Memorial Library's new Classics Remix Book Group. 3 months. 3 discussions. Read the classic. Read a modern retelling. Then watch the film adaptation and discuss. Final meeting is Thursday, November 19 at 6:30pm.

Are you haunted by the classics you “should” have read by now?

Let’s tackle them together! We’re revisiting the classics with a twist.
We’re calling it Classics Remix and it’s a 3-month focus.

Month 1: We will read a classic novel and meet to discuss it.
Month 2: We will read a modern retelling and meet to discuss it.
Month 3: We will watch a movie adaptation together (with popcorn!) and discuss.

To kick things off, we are reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

The final meeting will be Thursday, November 19 at 6:30PM.
