Free Eclipse Glasses for Library Members

We have 500 pairs of eclipse glasses to give away!
Limit 2 per family. Must be a library card holder.
(Library cards are free for Newfields residents).
Glasses are available to pick up at the library desk. While supplies last.
In preparation for the total solar eclipse on April 8, the Newfields library is distributing
free eclipse viewing glasses beginning in March, courtesy of the STAR Library Network.
We are limiting glasses to two per family so we can make sure everyone has a pair. The maximum eclipse (95% partial eclipse for this area) will last over 3 minutes, so you’ll have time to share!
