Let’s Play Mah Jongg! Weekly Tuesdays

Join us at the Library on Tuesdays in the cozy meeting room from 1-3pm to play American Mah Jongg!

Whether you’re a seasoned player or just curious to learn, you’re invited to join us for a fun and social game of American Mah Jongg — a tile-based game that blends strategy, skill, and a bit of luck. We play American Mah Jongg, which follows the rules of the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL). This version uses an annually updated Official Standard Hands and Rules card that guides gameplay. If you have one, please bring it with you — but if you’re new, don’t worry! The library has four 2026 rules cards to share along with two game sets for for in-library use, courtesy of the Friends of the Library.

Open to adults. Beginners welcome. Our sessions do not include formal instruction, but we do have experienced players who are happy to help.
